A UK software company
TraceID Ltd is a sister company to BAM Engineering. It was founded in October 2025 by Steve Bamber, founder of BAM Engineering, after building the system for Adwest Steering, the steering-box reconditioning business run by the same founder.
That business runs its strip-down inspections on our software every day, on iPads at the bench. Verified was built against those inspections, on a working shop floor, not in a demo.

Built for firms that software skipped
Remanufacturers, overhaul shops, machinists and foundries do skilled, careful work. Most of them still record it on paper inspection sheets and a spreadsheet, because the software on offer was built for large firms with an IT department.
No IT project
We host the system on AWS in London. It runs in the browser on an iPad or a laptop, so there is no server to buy and nothing to install.

Customers and auditors increasingly expect records produced by a system and tied to a person. That should not need a software team to deliver.
Two products, one Hub
Both products run in the TraceID Hub and are sold separately.
TraceID Verified
Verified turns paper inspection sheets into guided forms on an iPad, with photos, rules that set Red, Amber or Green, and a branded PDF report for every job. Signed-off reports change only through a controlled revision with a recorded reason.
TraceID Traced
Traced gives each product a record, with batches, test results and documents, and a QR trace ID that opens a public scan page. Product passports are versioned and held against the product.
